What should we ask for?

In light of all the things that are and about to take place. I have some things to say.

Who is Jesus to you? Believe on Him. Believe on the Son of the Most High God, the One who said in John 14:12-14 (NIV):

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

What should we ask for? Whatever you ask Jesus for reveals the true nature of your heart. Your motive matters too. So, what should we ask for?

Ask the Lord Jesus Christ for the Fathers will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

What else should we ask for? We should forgive those who have wronged us, and then we should ask God for forgiveness.

Is there anything else that we should ask the Son of God for? Yes. Ask the Lord Jesus for mercy. Mercy is what we need.

So how should we pray? With a willing heart. We need to be willing to allow God to shape and mold us into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

Above all things, we should set our hearts right with the Lord Jesus Christ. We need the Holy Spirit to live in these days more than ever. Its time to stop putting Him off and just do what we know in our hearts in what we really need. All of the world will pass away, but the Lord endures forever with compassion and mercy for those who choose it.

We need mercy, and NOW is the time to make things right with the Lord. He is waiting.

Lord Jesus, please have mercy on us. Keep us from temptation. Deliver us from evil. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

Go forth and be blessed my friend.
