In these days, I am certainly in need of spiritual nourishment. The world is divided on all sides that even the elect struggle to see eye to eye.
Where are the elect, because from where I sit, they are nowhere to be seen. Why does my Gods people hide from me. Why am I not included in their assembly? They have no time for me.
My friends, to those who feel these things, remember Psalm 4:3 (NIV):
Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord will hear when I call to him.
Sometimes God pulls us aside so that we spend more time with him than with others. When we are use to being around people, this can be a difficult thing. I suppose the best thing to do is to take advantage of the opportunity to be with God and learn whatever there is that needs to be learned, because God has a purpose for that time.
Loneliness is a very real thing in these times. I experience too, but I know that God will hear me when I call to him.
Psalm 4:5 (NIV) says,
Offer right sacrifices and trust in the Lord.
We should consider if our life is offering up the right sacrifices. We are told in Romans 12:1 (NIV):
Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.
Are our actions following the creed that God has set for us? Are we exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit as found in Galations 5:22-24?

Then we must trust in the Lord. It is what helps us to endure. If we do not trust God, then we have nothing. It is the Lord that will get us through. Jesus understands what it is like to live in the flesh on this earth. He experienced it all.
I leave you with Psalm 4:6-8 (NIV):
Many are asking, “Who can show us any good?” Let the light of your face shine upon us, O Lord. You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety
O Lord, you are my peace, and it is you that placed where I am in safety. Help me to not step outside of that hedge of protection. Help me to understand from your perspective what it is to be safe in these times. Thank you Lord for your provision. You are a wonderful, mighty God that loves us. There is no greater love than the love of Jesus. May I live a life worthy of your Lord. In Jesus’ name.
Go forth and be blessed, my friend.
