Thinking back to nearly 20 years ago, I was a wonderer not knowing what to do with my life or the mess I’d made of it.  I didn’t know what to do, nor did I know where to go to change my life. I felt as if there couldn’t be a change.  I was numb from all that had taken place in my life. I didn’t have any hope left in me. And nobody could seem to understand me or what I had been through. I was left to my own devices. I was alone.

This song really hits me to the core, because it says everything I felt in those times of my life.

But then God revealed himself to me one morning while I alone in my living room. He showed me where to go to find a way out of this battle I was fighting. He showed me mercy, and he showed me love. He showed me that He was going to walk with me through this.

He did walk with me through it. He has, and continues to heal me. Since that day, He has never left me. He knows the real me, and somebody who knows the real you and still loves you, well, its unforgettable.

I am so thankful for the Lord, how he daily searches my heart, and helps me through whatever I’m going through. I am blessed everyday for it.
